The FA of Wales held their annual awards evening at the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff recently and, for the first time ever, women were invited to the event. And several Cardiff City Ladies players were honoured on the night.
Gary Speed and the Wales squad were joined on the red carpet by the Wales women's team, together with their manager Jarmo Matikainen.
On the night, Amie Lea (top right) was awarded with the Welsh Club Player of the Year, with Natasha Harding runner up. Nia Jones (bottom right) picked up the Young Player of the Year Award, and Lauren Price was runner up. Both Amie and Nia were presented their awards by Jarmo.
Also recognised on the night were two of our past players Jessica Fishlock, winning the Welsh Player of the Year, and runner up Gwennan Harries.
Our Club Secretary Karen Jones, MBE was also honoured by the FAW as she was awarded a Long Service Award by the FA of Wales Chief Executive Johnathon Ford.
Congratulations to you all.
