Cardiff City LFC are the oldest womens club in Wales and one of the oldest esablished clubs in Britain having formed on the 1st June 1975, and have a very long and proud history which can be read on our History page.
In 1997 the club formed a reserve side to compliment its succesful junior section by providing a stepping stone into senior football.
Both Reserve and First Team sides train together on a Wednesday and Friday night, with both teams playing in The FA National Womens League, the senior team play in the FA Women's National Premier League and the Reserves play in the FA Reserves Women's Premier League Southern Divsion Two.

‘Senior Team Secure Shirt Sponsorship with YC Sports’
Cardiff City Ladies are delighted to announce that sports retailer YC Sports of Crwys Road, Cardiff continue to be the First Team shirt sponsor this season.
YC have a wealth of experience in delivering a wide range of team and leisure wear across Wales and the UK and supplied the club for many years with kit, tracksuits and equipment and generously helped out on many occasions with kit for their UEFA trips, but decided to go one step further and supply the first team with playing kit and secure closer links with the club.
Director of YC Jean Lim said ‘We have always had a good relationship with Cardiff City LFC and are excited about our forthcoming partnership. We are pleased to be part of a forward thinking and successful club”.
