Price Captains Welsh U19's to Success in Europe

Wales ease through to the Elite Round of the UEFA Under 19s Championship matches next spring after a successful first round out in Iceland.

Cardiff City Ladies player, Lauren Price (pictured right) captained the Welsh side to a 3-0 win in the opening fixture over Kazakhstan and a good 4-1 win against Slovenia before ending the tournament with a disappointing 2-0 defeat against the host country Iceland.

Lauren was joined in the squad by Cardiff’s summer signing Sophie Cole. Both girls were pivotal to Jarmo Matikainens side, playing in all three games.
